Smart Construction: Why KRS BTP Selected the TWOFISH M5 Elite for Our Fleet
At KRS BTP, we pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive quality—from general masonry and structural engineering to the final touches of tiling and painting. Based in Noisy-le-Sec, our projects are diverse, but they all share one common challenge: site logistics.
On a busy job site, time is our most expensive resource. When a site manager or foreman spends 30 minutes a day just walking between the site office and various work zones, that is lost productivity.
To solve this, KRS BTP recently integrated the TWOFISH M5 Elite into our on-site fleet. It isn’t just a scooter; it’s a rugged utility tool that matches the demands of our daily operations.
1. Power to Handle the "Unfinished" Road
A standard city scooter would get stuck in loose gravel or struggle up a temporary dirt ramp. The M5 Elite-E is built differently.
-
500W Motor & 15° Climbing: We have temporary ramps and graded hills all over the site. The 500W motor pushes this scooter up 15° inclines easily, even when fully loaded.
-
14-Inch Pneumatic Tires: These larger tires are crucial. They roll over rocks, cables, and packed dirt much better than the solid plastic wheels found on smaller units.
-
Dual Suspension: The site is bumpy. The front and rear shock absorbers mean our staff can ride across rough terrain without taking a beating, keeping them fresh for the actual work.

2. Utility & Load Capacity
Construction isn't just about moving people; it's about moving gear.
-
Heavy Hauling: With a max load of 120kg (265 lbs), it easily supports a site supervisor wearing full PPE and a tool belt.
-
The Rear Basket: This comes standard and is detachable. It’s perfect for running a box of fasteners, a set of blueprints, or a laser level from one end of the site to the other.
-
Removable Seat: Some days you need to hop on and off quickly; other days you have a long ride to the perimeter fence. The removable seat gives us the flexibility to choose between a standing scooter or a seated vehicle.

3. Safety & Shift Work
Safety is our top priority, especially as the days get shorter or when working night shifts.
-
Night Visibility: The M5 Elite comes equipped with a bright LED headlight and warning taillights. Combined with the dual rearview mirrors, operators have excellent awareness of heavy machinery moving around them.
-
Stopping Power: Wet concrete and mud can make stopping distances unpredictable. The front and rear dual disc brakes provide the bite needed to stop instantly, far superior to electronic-only brakes.

4. Range & Portability
-
All-Day Battery: The 48V 13Ah battery gives us a 30km range. We can run this scooter back and forth all day on a single charge. Recharging takes about 6-8 hours, so we just plug it in at the site office overnight.
-
Fold & Go: Space in the site trailer is tight. The M5 Elite folds down (112 x 60 x 90cm unfolded), making it easy to tuck under a desk or throw into the back of a pickup truck if we need to move it to a different project.

Summary
At KRS BTP, we believe that modern construction requires modern tools. The TWOFISH M5 Elite bridges the gap between walking and driving a truck. It saves fuel, reduces fatigue, and keeps our projects moving efficiently.
